While Time Stands Still is the poignant firsthand account of America’s military families confronted by the challenges of war. The documentary explores the traumatic effect of having a loved one in a combat zone, each day a struggle to keep palpable fears at bay.
Through the eyes of two Marine Corps wives, Brandi Albritton and Denneny Cochran, we travel the precipitous path of the emotional cycle of deployment. We meet the two women prior to their husbands’ departure for Iraq, and follow them as they struggle to cope with the absence of their partners.
Their trials are anchored with contributions from military families from around the country who open their hearts and share their experiences.
In addition, experts assist in creating a deeper understanding of the difficulties that arise, and give advice on how to navigate this treacherous journey.
